The Proposed Expansion Of North Butterworth Container Terminal (NBCT), Phase 3, Pulau Pinang, MALAYSIA
Penang Port Sdn. Bhd. (PPSB) intends to expand the existing North Butterworth Container Terminal (NBCT) with implementation of Phase 3. The Phase 3 of the proposed expansion of the port consists of the following packages:
- Package 1, which is the extension of 171m length by 127m width of deck at rear of existing container berth north of first access bridge;
- Package 2A, which is the extension of 600m length by 56m width wharf at north end of existing wharf for Super post Panamax vessels;
- Package 2B, which is the extension of 600m length by 127m width deck at rear of wharf of Package 2A; and
- Barging center with the measurement of 170m long by 121m wide
