Preliminary Design And Tender Documentation For “Merekabentuk, Membina Dan Menyiapkan Kerja-kerja Pembaikan Sungai Klang Dari Jambatan Lebuhraya Persekutuan Ke Jambatan Jalan Klang Lama”, Selangor, MALAYSIA

The Project “MEREKABENTUK, MEMBINA DAN MENYIAPKAN KERJA-KERJA PEMBAIKAN SUNGAI KLANG DARI JAMBATAN LEBUHRAYA PEREKUTUAN KE JAMBATAN JALAN KLANG LAMA” was implemented based on a design and build concept. The Project involved 4.2km of Klang River from Federal Highway Bridge to the Jalan Klang Lama Bridge near Kg. Pasir. The improvement works are necessary to upgrade the river capacity to cater for the 100-year return period.

The detailed works comprise the followings:

• Preliminary design for the proposed improvement works (deepening, widening and realignment of river);
• Environmentally friendly design of the works and other facilities; and
• Documentation of tender documents for contract to be implemented on a design and build basis
